Promoting Dignity and Inclusion Through Hygiene
At Alpha Hygiene, we believe hygiene is about more than just clean spaces…it’s about dignity, access, and inclusion. Recently, as part of our CSR commitments, we partnered with Fondation Georges Charles, a school for young individuals living with disabilities (jeunes porteurs de déficience), to host a meaningful Menstrual Health Awareness Session.
Why Menstrual Health Education Matters
For many of the students, this was the first time they engaged in open discussions about menstrual health. Our goal was to create a safe, respectful space where young people could learn, ask questions, and feel empowered.
With the help of trained facilitators, we used inclusive, accessible materials to teach key concepts—from understanding the menstrual cycle to best hygiene practices during menstruation. The session was carefully adapted to meet the learning needs of all participants.

This awareness session is a reminder that menstrual education and hygiene services must go hand in hand. Our partnership with Fondation Georges Charles reflects our core mission: to bring inclusive, people-first hygiene solutions to every corner of our community.
