Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Debtors Clerk to join our team and help manage overdue accounts, negotiate repayment plans, ensure timely resolution of account, contribute to efficient debt recovery operations while maintaining strong professional relationships with our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Contact debtors via phone, email, letters, or in-person to discuss overdue payments and negotiate repayment plans.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all communications, agreements, and disputes.
• Monitor repayment schedules to ensure timely payments and meet debt collection targets.
• Allocate payments and reconcile debtor accounts while assisting with administrative tasks.
• Professionally handle customer complaints and resolve disputes to ensure positive outcomes.

Requirements:

• HSC or studying towards ACCA/Finance qualification.
• Experience with ERP/Accounting software.
• Strong communication (English and French).
• Team Player.
• Supervisory skills.
• Problem solving, organization and numeracy expertise.
